About

Aid Hub is an independent website that explains health, senior care and U.S. benefit programs in plain English. It is written and maintained by the Aid Hub Editorial Team.

What we cover

  • U.S. benefits: Social Security, SSI, Medicare, Medicaid, SNAP, TANF and housing assistance.
  • Everyday health: common symptoms, nutrition, sleep, exercise and mental health, written for adults and older adults.
  • Senior safety and caregiving: fall prevention, home safety, medication organization and emergency preparedness.

How we write and check our guides

  • We build each guide from official and expert sources, such as SSA.gov, Medicare.gov, CMS, CDC, NIH, FDA and USDA, and we link to them so you can check the original.
  • Dollar amounts, income limits and dates are checked against the agency that sets them. When an agency publishes new figures (for example, the yearly Social Security cost-of-living adjustment), we update the affected guides.
  • Health guides describe what public health agencies and medical organizations say. They do not replace advice from your own doctor, pharmacist or benefits office.

Independence and affiliate links

Aid Hub is not a government website and is not affiliated with the Social Security Administration, CMS or any other agency. Some guides include optional product links. As an Amazon Associate, Aid Hub earns from qualifying purchases at no extra cost to you. You never need to buy anything to apply for a benefit or follow a health guide.
